I painted this mural for Street Art Mankind in Hudson Yards, NYC.

The purpose of this poetic mural is to reflect our vital connection to nature and the need to protect biodiversity in urban areas. Despite the abundance of steel and concrete and crowds and traffic, cities and towns are still ecosystems whose condition profoundly marks the quality of our lives!

The mural is also part of Ecosystem Restoration Murals series and comes in support of UN Environmet Programme’s global initiative on ecosystem restoration.
