“UNDER THE CLOAK OF PEACE/KUA KAKAHUTIA TE RANGIMARIE”

I painted this mural in Palmerston North, New Zealand for Street Prints Papaioea Festival Co curated by Findac.

The festival inspiration was to combine art with Manawatū’s rich history, beautiful lands and people, with the goal to bring together the local community.

After the tragic Christchurch Mosque shootings of last year, Street Prints team felt the need to enlight the concept of unity and peace and to spread it as a message with no borders.
