This mural is the first of the diptych I realized in collaborations made with the master Case Maclaim for WallStoryTown in Bad Vilbel, Germany.

Bad Vilbel is a small village located at the door of Frankfurt, and it’s famously known for its mineral springs and its orchard cultivation called “Streuobst“. This cultivation had a great cultural, social, landscape-shaping and ecological significance in the 19th and the first half of the 20th century; However, due to the intensification of the agriculture as well as the constructions and settlements, orchard meadows were severely decimated in the second half of the 20th century and  today, they are among the most endangered biotopes in Central Europe.

Our character is holding in his hands the tree ”Baum” with the hope to preserve and take care of it.
