I painted these two walls for Subsidenze Festival in Ravenna curated by Bonobolabo.

Ravenna is twinned with Mantova and the festival focus has been on their two famous writers, so the walls represent the writers Dante and Virgilio as children while playing with each other and with some iconic objects that they will meet again in the midway upon the journey of their life.

The two famous poets who have lived in different moment of history will meet in Dante’s Divine Comedy. Virgilio will guide Dante through the  the 9 circles of the inferno.

I paid a little tribute to Go Nagai’s  Devilman as he was inspired by Dante’s Divine Comedy.
